Musician (Worship Services Support)

Location: USAG Rheinland-Pfalz, Kaiserslautern, Landstuhl Chapel
Employment Type: Contract / Part-Time (As Required)

Key Tasks / Responsibilities

• Provide musical support for worship services, rehearsals, and special religious events.
• Perform prelude, interlude, offertory, and postlude selections as required.
• Accompany congregational singing, choirs, soloists, and worship teams.
• Attend and participate in scheduled rehearsals (minimum one hour when required).
• Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to each service for setup and sound check.
• Coordinate musical selections, tempo, and style with the Master Musician Coordinator and worship leaders.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficiency in piano, keyboard, or other applicable instrument.
• Ability to read and perform from sheet music and/or chord charts.
• Experience accompanying singers or performing in a group setting.
• Ability to follow direction and coordinate with worship leaders and teams.
• Strong reliability and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing in religious services or worship settings.
• Ability to play multiple musical styles (traditional, contemporary, liturgical, etc.).
• Experience accompanying choirs or ensembles.
