JOB TITLE : Catholic Musician

LOCATION : Cannon AFB Chapel, Clovis, New Mexico, 88103

JOB TYPE : Part time

DUTIES :

Conducting rehearsals prior to services or performances.
Performing as part of a worship team, leading congregational singing, playing an instrument, or providing vocals.
Training and supervising other musicians in the church.
Organizing and maintaining music libraries containing scores, recordings, and other materials used in church services.
Leasing and maintaining equipment such as pianos and organs.
practicing with choir prior to services, and providing rehearsals for musicians/choir.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION :

Shall have a minimum of 1 year experience as a volunteer or paid position in a church setting working directly with church musicians, directors and choirs.
Shall have bachelor’s in Music or a combination of education (music education, performance, or theory) and experience in a professional setting equaling no less than three (3) years.
Must be able to play the following instruments: organ and piano.
Must be able to sight-read music and play a variety of music to include but not limited to traditional (preludes, meditative instrumentals, postludes, praise choruses, congregational hmns, and classical music selections).
