Position Title: Valet Parking Attendant
Location: Salem VA Medical Center, 1970 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153

Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Qualifications:

Must possess and maintain a valid Virginia Driver’s License.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Previous experience in valet parking or a similar role is preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to operate vehicles of various types, including those with adaptive equipment
Greet vehicles at the valet area (excluding buses, VA transportation, and contractors).
Assist veterans and caregivers with wheelchairs and devices.
Ensure vehicle wait times do not exceed 10 minutes (15 minutes for overflow lot).
Safely park and retrieve vehicles, ensuring they are locked and secure.
Manage parking in lots C3, D, and the overflow area.
Control traffic flow and direct to alternative parking/shuttle services when needed.
