Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Place of performance: Health Services Department located in the Health Services Units at FCl/FSC Williamsburg, located at 8301 Hwy 521 Salters, South Carolina 29590.

Hours/schedule: 32 Hours a week - Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m

Qualifications:

• Must have graduated from an accredited Vocational Nursing school or program.
• Must have experience with medical equipment.
• Shall maintain current licensure as a Vocational/Practical Nurse in the State of South Carolina.
• Must be certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation in accordance with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

Duties:

• The Applicant will be responsible for receiving patients and explaining procedures to alleviate undue anxiety, submitting reports and evaluations as requested.
• The contractor will be responsible for following directives and comply with Bureau of Prison's Health Services Manual, FCl/FSC Williamsburg institutional mandates and the Health Service Unit's policies in the management of all patient encounters.
• The contractor shall NOT provide information to the inmates(s).
• The contractor is required to maintain an open line of communication with the Clinical Director, Medical Officer, and Mid-Level Practitioner
