Job Title: Elevator Maintenance Technician
Location: Cresson, PA (Allegheny Portage Railroad NHS) and St. Micheal, PA (Johnstown Flood National Memorial)
Type of Job: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Evening, Weekend, and Federal Holiday shifts as needed

Duties:

Perform monthly maintenance, annual inspections, and service calls on two hydraulic elevators located at the Allegheny Portage Railroad NHS and Johnstown Flood National Memorial.
Conduct inspections and repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications, national and state codes, and park regulations.
Respond promptly to service calls, diagnose issues, and implement necessary repairs to ensure elevator functionality and safety.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Coordinate with park personnel and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for scheduling and reporting purposes.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure public and employee safety during maintenance and repair activities.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Pennsylvania mechanic license or equivalent certification.
Experience in elevator maintenance, repair, and inspection preferred.
Knowledge of National Elevator Code, National Electric Code, and other relevant safety standards.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose elevator malfunctions.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with park personnel and contractors.
Attention to detail and adherence to maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
Flexibility to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
