Job Overview:
The Psychologist will provide both group and individual psychotherapy services, using evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help high-risk offenders at the Re-entry and Sanctions Center (RSC). The role focuses on addressing psychological barriers to reduce the likelihood of reoffending and improve residents' emotional and psychological well-being.

Qualifications:
- PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited graduate program.
- Full, unrestricted license to practice clinical psychology in the District of Columbia or a U.S. state.
- Minimum of three years of experience as a licensed counseling or clinical psychologist, preferably in a forensic or correctional setting.
- Strong background in conducting cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and working with high-risk populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Virtual/Onsite group and individual psychotherapy sessions for high-risk offenders.
- Develop and implement evidence-based cognitive behavioral interventions.
- Conduct group therapy sessions with clearly defined goals, focusing on topics such as trauma, substance abuse, grief, and mental illness.
- Document progress notes in the RSC SMART case management system.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during all therapy sessions.
- Coordinate with RSC staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
