Location: Edwards Air Force Base, California
Position: Part-time

Duties:

Plan, manage, and coordinate Catholic Religious Education (RE) activities continuously, with increased workloads during periods such as Confirmation and Vacation Bible School (VBS).
Submit an annual Catholic RE calendar, projecting all regular and sacramental classes, masses, rehearsals, lock-ins, retreats, and parents' meetings.
Advise the Catholic Priest of any issues that might jeopardize the successful implementation of the Catholic RE program, including changes in student population or discipline problems.
Maintain a current database of volunteers and ensure volunteer catechists are assigned to Sunday class sessions as required.

Requirements:

Must be an active catechist with a minimum of five years of experience teaching a variety of sacramental programs for children, youth, and adults, or have equivalent classroom experience within the past five years.
Must maintain good rapport with the congregation and ensure absolute privacy and confidentiality for any issues encountered.
