Medical License: Must be a licensed physician in Texas with board certification in Emergency Medicine.
Experience: Experience in pre-hospital emergency care and EMS program management.
Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of EMS systems, local multi-casualty plans, and relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide medical direction and oversight for the EMS Program, ensuring all practices comply with the latest standards and regulations.
Actively engage in the training and continuing education of EMS personnel, ensuring they meet or exceed certification requirements.
Establish and monitor compliance with field performance and training guidelines, ensuring adherence to state and national standards.
Develop, implement, and revise medical protocols, standing orders, and performance guidelines for patient care, triage, transport, and dispatch.
Direct an effective system audit and quality assurance program, conducting quarterly on-site reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
