Catholic Religious Education Coordinator

Location: Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB), Idaho
Position Type: Part-Time (Up to 15 hours per week, maximum 540 hours annually)
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate weekly Catholic Religious Education classes for children, youth, and adults.
Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer catechists and ministry volunteers.
Plan and organize religious education events, programs, and activities.
Maintain program schedules, records, and communications with parents and participants.
Prepare announcements, reports, and program materials.
Coordinate classroom space, supplies, and educational resources.
Ensure classrooms and program areas are prepared and secured during activities.

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Religious Education, Theology, or related field preferred.

Experience

Minimum two years of experience in Catholic Religious Education, catechesis, or ministry coordination.

Skills

Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic ministry environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
