Job Title: Family Advocacy Program (FAP) Educator

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver educational programs focused on the dynamics of child and spouse abuse, prevention strategies, and intervention techniques.
- Conduct training sessions for military personnel, families, and community members to increase awareness and understanding of family violence issues.
- Offer support and guidance to individuals and families experiencing domestic violence, child abuse, or neglect.
- Act as a liaison between military families and available community resources, ensuring they receive the necessary support and services.
- Work closely with military and civilian agencies, including ACS, healthcare providers, and law enforcement, to coordinate efforts in preventing family violence.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Marriage, Family and Child Counseling, Nursing, Counseling or Behavioral Science, Education, or Community/Public Health from an accredited university.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in family and children's services or community organization, with specific experience in family violence prevention.
- Familiarity with military culture and the specific challenges faced by military families.
- Must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) of the past five (5) years or, if a foreign national, must have lived in Germany for at least one year to complete the required background checks.
