Duties:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Vandenberg Education and Training Services Facility.
  • Plan, direct, and organize facility scheduling and classroom management for meetings and instruction.
  • Provide technical support for IT/Audio Visual/Satellite systems, including setup, troubleshooting, and end-user training.
  • Coordinate conference and event planning, ensuring presentations and equipment are functioning properly.
  • Serve as the facility's focal point for all computer, audiovisual, and lighting requirements.
  • Liaise with various classroom, auditorium, and testing room users to facilitate systems planning and problem resolution.
  • Gather, assemble, and analyze program information to draw conclusions and devise solutions.
  • Create and analyze data using spreadsheets and charts to measure facility and equipment usage.
  • Brief the Flight Chief, Force Development, and make recommendations for continuous upgrades.
  • Conduct pre-planning or pre-training meetings with key customers to schedule classrooms and explain options.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience as a facility point of contact and technical expert for computer, audiovisual, and lighting requirements.
  • Minimum two (2) years of customer service experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience with scheduling and conducting Satellite Broadcast Courses.
  • Associate degree in a related mechanical or electrical field preferred, but not required (equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered).
  • Knowledge of military protocol practices, procedures, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in operating various computer systems and audiovisual equipment.
  • Skills in troubleshooting and instructing individuals on technology setup and usage.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and communicate program information clearly.
  • Demonstrated financial and operational management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
