Job Title:  Catholic Musician

Location: Brunssum, Netherlands

Duties:

• The applicant shall play piano, keyboard, or guitar proficiently during the musical portion of each Sunday service or during other special occasions as required.
• The applicant shall coordinate songs, hymns, and music for JFC Chapel Mass with the Government Catholic Priest and the praise and worship music for the Protestant Service.
• The applicant shall lead or accompany the singing of hymns, choruses, and spiritual songs; perform preludes; postlude; offertory; and background for meditation and prayers; that enhance the atmosphere of worship for the particular congregation.
• The applicant shall lead or accompany the singing of hymns, choruses, and spiritual songs; perform preludes; postlude; offertory; and background for meditation and prayers; that enhance the atmosphere of worship for the particular congregation.
• The applicant shall provide accompaniment for the choir or praise team rehearsals.
• The applicant shall provide songs, hymns, and music in coordination of the contracted Catholic.
  Priest or the Choir or Praise Team Leader for the Sunday Mass and the Choir or Praise Team rehearsals.

Education & Qualifications:

• Musicians shall be musically proficient on their specific instrument (Pianist/Keyboardist/Organist), proficient in reading music, and possess experience performing in religious worship settings.
• If experience with a military chapel does not exist, the applicant must be willing to learn the unique characteristics of the military chapel community.
