Job title: Licensed clinical Social Worker

Location: RAF Alconbury and RAF Molesworth, England

Duties:

• The applicant shall observe and participates in squadron activities in order to identify psychosocial stressors and barriers to optimal human performance.
• The applicant shall develop and implements initiatives to mitigate psychosocial stressors and risks and optimize airmen performance.
• The applicant shall provide psychological consultation, education, and training to military commanders/senior leaders, other mental health professionals, and medical staff.
• The applicant shall conduct psych diagnostics assessments and provides evidence-based psychotherapy

Qualification:

• The applicant shall have knowledge of military organizations and culture and the unique stressors upon workers in an operational military workplace.
• The applicant shall have knowledge of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) of the American Psychiatric Association to evaluate psychiatric disorders and apply professional diagnostic skills.
• Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice clinical social work independently in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S Virgin Islands.
• The applicant must have practiced as an independent licensed clinical social worker within the past two years.
• The applicant must possess and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
