Job Title: Weaponeering Instructor

Location: Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Virginia

Schedule: Courses conducted twice a year for Introduction to Weaponeering and once a year for Advanced Weaponeering, from 0800 to 1600.

Duties:

  • Course Delivery: Conduct Introduction to Weaponeering courses twice annually and an Advanced Weaponeering course once a year, adhering to the outlined curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Instructional Material: Provide necessary course materials, including books and training resources, either in hardcopy or softcopy format, to facilitate effective learning experiences for participants.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality training sessions by employing effective instructional methods, engaging participants, and fostering interactive learning environments.
 

Qualifications:

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge and expertise in weaponeering principles, weapon effects, and target vulnerability assessment, acquired through relevant academic qualifications and professional experience.
  • Teaching Experience: Demonstrate proficiency in delivering technical training courses, preferably in a defense or military context, with a track record of effectively imparting complex concepts to diverse audiences.
