Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Summary:
Provide personal nursing services to enhance the quality of care for all healthcare beneficiaries at the 51st Medical Group. The LVN/LPN will support the Flight and Operational Medical Clinic by performing various medical tasks and contributing to policy implementation and improvement.

Location:51st Medical Group, Osan Air Base, Korea
Schedule: 07:00 AM -05:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide LVN/LPN services in accordance with professional standards and applicable regulations.
• Perform administrative quality reviews, vitals, collect samples, administer medications, perform tests, and clinical exams.
• Manage patient records in MHS GENESIS, ASIMS, AIMWTS, and PEPP.
• Follow methods for controlling and preventing diseases as per CDC guidelines.
• Ensure all medical records are documented correctly and comply with HIPAA.
• Maintain proficiency in MHS GENESIS, Aeromedical Services Information Management System (ASIMS), and other electronic medical record systems.
• Complete all mandatory annual training and participate in continuous quality improvement activities.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completed formal training program to practice as a LVN/LPN from a US jurisdiction.
• Certification: Maintain current certification in BLS/CPR and ACLS.
• Licensure: Hold and maintain a current, active, valid, unrestricted license to practice as a LVN/LPN from a US jurisdiction.
• Experience: At least two years of full-time experience in care coordination, discharge planning, or case management in a medical setting within the last four years.
