Job Title: American Sign Language Interpreter

Location: Bremerton, WA

Duties:

Provide sign language interpreter services to facilitate communication for command Deaf and Hard of Hearing employees and functions.
Interpret any conversation, meeting, training session, interview, or other requested event, including providing oral interpreting to employees who do not use sign language.

Qualifications:

Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and English, with a deep understanding of the grammatical structures and nuances of both languages.
Possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in ASL Interpreting, Deaf Studies, or a related field. Alternatively, hold relevant certifications or credentials from recognized interpreting programs.
