Conduct intake physical examinations, medical assessments, and health histories.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with state law and collaborative agreement.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized medical treatment plans.
Provide first aid, emergency response, and stabilization as required.
Participate in Disability Accommodation Committee (DAC) meetings and applicant file reviews.
Collaborate with mental health, substance abuse, dental, and wellness staff to support integrated care.
Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation in the Student Health Record (SHR).
Establish and manage medical referrals for specialty and emergency care.
Participate in quality assurance, audits, training, and Job Corps assessments.
Provide health education and prevention counseling to students.
Report significant medical issues, incidents, and trends to the Health and Wellness Director and Center Director as required.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, Job Corps PRH, and all applicable federal and state regulations.
Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state where services are provided.
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Formal collaborative agreement with a licensed Physician, in accordance with state scope-of-practice requirements, maintained for the duration of the contract.
Current DEA registration.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Experience in primary care, family medicine, community health, correctional health, or school-based health.
Experience working with adolescents and young adults ages 16–24.
