Park Attendant

Job Title: Park Attendant
Work Hours: Thursday through Sunday, 9:00 am to 10:00 pm (on-call for emergencies from 10:00 pm to 9:00 am).
Location: Salthouse Branch Park, Philpott Lake, Henry, VA
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform periodic inspections of the entire park area every 2 hours, reporting violations or suspicious activity to a ranger and/or local law enforcement.
• Manage electronic gates and perform manual gate operations in case of malfunctions (6:00 am pening and 10:00 pm closing).
• Manage parking to prevent overcrowding and redirect visitors when necessary.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gatehouse.

Qualifications:

• Must be physically capable of performing periodic park inspections and handling gate operations.
• Have a Recreational Vehicle
• Familiarity with general housekeeping skills such as cleaning, organizing, and maintaining facilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
