Assistant Project Manager

Position Title: Assistant Project Manager
Location: U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Key Responsibilities:
Act on behalf of the Project Manager during absences with full decision-making authority.
Assist in overseeing food service operations, staffing, scheduling, and supervision.
Coordinate with Government representatives and attend meetings as required.
Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards.
Assist with performance monitoring, reporting, and corrective actions.
Support contingency, migrant feeding, and special operations as directed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in food management may substitute for 3 years of management experience.
3–5 years military food service experience at E-9, Warrant, or Commissioned Officer level may substitute for management experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience managing cafeteria-style or multi-entrée operations.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
Minimum 3 years experience as a unit manager or assistant manager.
