Position: Part-time
Duties:
- Prepare for and attend scheduled rehearsals, Mass, and special services/events, ensuring the preparation of the Catholic Choirs to sing hymns, praise, and worship choruses, and other appropriate music.
- Collaborate with the Catholic Music Director for rehearsals, Sunday services, and special events.
- Exercise proper care over chapel music equipment and adhere to music copyright laws.
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience playing piano, with prior experience in church/chapel settings preferred.
- Ability to sight-read music from the Oregon Catholic Press (OCP) series, GIA/Gather,...
- Familiarity with blending various musical instruments in worship services.
- Have a working knowledge of audio-visual equipment such as sound systems and projectors.
