The applicant must Coordinate monthly with Senior Protestant chaplain to arrange space and setup for protestant programs.
The applicant must schedule and organize, in conjunction with the Catholic RE coordinator, events that incorporate Protestant programs such as Vacation Bible School (VBS) at least two months in advance.
The applicant must organize and setup classes/class room spaces needed for Religious Education; recruit teachers, substitutes, and other necessary volunteers; train teachers and substitutes; and provide workshops as required during the year.
Qualifications:
Ability to function as a team member in a pluralistic environment working with chaplains, staff, and volunteers from a variety of Protestant Christian backgrounds.
Possess a basic working knowledge of Chapel Tithes and Offering Fund (CTOF) and appropriated funds budget process and procedures.
Education/Experience:
The applicant must have documented and verifiable experience of at least one year working in an administrative office environment.
The applicant must have experience as a Protestant Religious Education Coordinator or as a Director of Christian Education in a local Church.
