The applicant shall provide the following services:
Mass, Communion, and Holy Days of Obligation in the chapel, not exceeding 100 visits per year. Specific dates of need will be provided by the Chief Chaplain to the applicant.
Provide Unit Visits: patient visitation/general visitation of Catholic patients desiring Mass, Communion, or Holy Days of Obligation to include Rite/Sacrament at the bedside.
Provide emergency call back that occurs outside of normal duty hours on an as-needed basis, including Rite/Sacrament at the bedside, not exceeding 10 visits per year.
Education & Qualifications:
Experience: Requires at least 2 years of experience
Education: A Master of Divinity degree or equivalent
The Contractor will provide representatives (Priests) who are endorsed through the Archdiocese for the US Military (AMS).
HoursOfOperation:
The applicant shall respond to calls during normal working hours (between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.), Monday through Friday.
Work Hours – Catholic Mass, Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Catholic Mass, Monday – Friday 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
