Conduct regular and special religious services, including monthly memorial services, weddings, funerals, and other spiritual ceremonies in various settings such as meditation rooms, chapels, and conference rooms.
Provide pastoral care tailored to individual needs, respecting the voluntary nature of spiritual engagement by the veterans.
Oversee the planning and execution of Protestant religious programs and activities.
Arrange for substitute chaplains during absences and ensure seamless continuity of services.
Manage scheduled and unscheduled absences including providing backup chaplain coverage.
Requirements:
Must be endorsed by a recognized Protestant denomination.
Prior experience in a chaplaincy role, preferably in a retirement community or healthcare setting.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
ability to provide compassionate and effective pastoral care.
Ability to obtain the necessary clearance for a Campus pass.
