Job Title: Medical Administrative Support Technician

Duties:
Schedule and coordinate pre-employment physicals, drug screenings, and various medical examinations; maintain open communication with Human Capital Recruiters and external facilities.
Assist with onboarding by managing the drug screening process, ensuring all custody forms are accurate, and coordinating with labs for results.
Support medical surveillance programs, handling questionnaires, scheduling testing, and drafting related correspondence.
Provide administrative support for the Medical Services unit, managing appointments, composing routine correspondence, and handling confidential records.
Adapt to changing priorities within the Medical Services unit, often shifting between tasks to meet the unit’s dynamic needs.
Requirements:
GED or High School diploma; Medical Office Assistant training or certification is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology, acquired through coursework or relevant experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and experience with electronic medical records systems.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, effective communication abilities, and a high level of discretion.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of clerical procedures, English grammar, and correspondence formats.
Ability to work independently, exercise tact, and maintain confidentiality in a medical administrative setting.
