Protestant Music Director
Mountain Home AFB, ID - Part Time
Location: Mountain Home AFB, Idaho.
Position: Part-time
Duties:
- Serve as a resource person, advisor, and coordinator for Protestant worship service music within the Mountain Home AFB chapel.
- Post and maintain a regular schedule for volunteer training, recruitment, checking resource materials, and program publicity.
- Prepare and coordinate musical selections for worship services.
- Recruit and direct volunteer musicians and vocalists.
- Ensure compliance with rules regarding the use of copyrighted music and materials.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one (1) year experience leading Protestant worship services in contemporary, gospel, and liturgical settings.
- Ability to sight-read music, sing, and play an instrument compatible with Protestant worship.
- Experience in singing and playing musical instruments such as piano, keyboard, organ, or guitar.
- Reside within a 75-mile radius of Mountain Home AFB.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to support a religiously pluralistic environment.
