Worship Leader

Location: Yokota Air Base, Japan
Position: Part-time
Duties:

• Serve as the primary musician for the two Catholic worship services.
• Provide piano or organ accompaniment during worship services, including prelude, hymns, anthems, choral responses, and postlude.
• Organize and supervise volunteers, including choir and musicians.
• Setup and take down necessary items for rehearsals and worship services, ensuring areas are properly secured and maintained.

• Bachelor of Arts in music or 2 years of experience with 3 years of playing in religious worship services.
• Proficient in playing both the piano and organ.
• Ability to skillfully sight-read and play music.
• Knowledge of traditional, liturgical, and contemporary church music.
