Duties:
- Independently review disability claims and complete documentation of impairment severity and limitations.
- Conduct medical assessments and reviews.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant disability policies and procedures.
- Complete independent case reviews within set timelines.
- Maintain professional communication with the staff and ensure prompt response to inquiries.
- Participate in mandatory orientations and training programs.
- Use furnished computing devices for all case processing and communications.
- Licensed physician with a specialty in fields such as Cardiology, General Medicine, etc., or in audiology and speech/language pathology.
- Availability to perform services for at least 15 hours per week.
- Proficient in English and capable of providing comprehensive medical documentation.
- Basic computer skills with proficiency in email, document creation, and secure internet use.
- Ability to independently meet performance expectations and maintain a high level of quality in case reviews.
- While the position is primarily remote, travel may be required to perform non-case services.
