Job Title: Credentialing Coordinator Schedule: 06:30-17:00 (6:30am-5:00pm), Tuesday through Friday Location: Camp Fretterd Military Reservation, Reisterstown, Maryland Key Responsibilities:
Credential Verification: Manage the entire credentialing process, including organizing, maintaining, and verifying the credentials of healthcare practitioners such as physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, and social workers.
Documentation Management: Gather, review, and upload all required documents into the Department of Defense Centralized Credentials Quality Assurance System (CCQAS).
Provider Communication: Communicate with military and employee medical staff, commanders, and external healthcare facilities to ensure all credentialing documentation is up to date.
Expiration Tracking: Monitor and track the expiration of licenses and certifications, ensuring that all credentialing actions are performed timely, with a minimum of 95% accuracy.
Reporting: Report significant findings or concerns regarding provider credentials to the Deputy State Surgeon or their designee.
Office Management: Serve as the Office Manager for the MDARNG Office of the State Surgeon, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in credentialing coordination or a similar role, preferably within a military or government setting.
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
