Verifying Official (VO)

Location: Military Personnel Flight (MPF), Hurlburt Field, Florida
Job Title: Verifying Official (VO)
Job Type: Full-Time

Duties:

• Process and verify personnel identification documents and issue Common Access Cards (CACs) for service members, dependents, and retirees.
• Review and validate supporting documents for DEERS enrollment and ID card issuance.
• Conduct PIN resets, reissuance of locked CACs, and process ID revocation as required by DoD policies.
• Assist with leave processing, dependency determinations, and family care plan updates.
• Ensure proper documentation and processing of DD Form 1172-2 for DEERS enrollment.
• Retrieve and revoke ID cards from individuals who are no longer eligible or have been separated from service.
• Assist customers with ID renewals, name changes, and dependent verification.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance (mandatory).
• 1+ years of experience in personnel verification or related administrative roles.
• Familiarity with DEERS/RAPIDS operations and ID card issuance processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with military personnel and family members.
• Basic understanding of Air Force and DoD identification policies.
