Cosmetology Instructor

JOB TITLE : Cosmetology Instructor 
LOCATION: San Diego CA.

DUTIES :

• Weeks 1–2: (10 Days/80 Hours/M-F)

Sanitation and Sterilization Practices, General Histology of Hair, Skin & Bones of the Skull, Formation and Texture of Hair, Characteristics of Hair Types, Single Draping, Product Knowledge: Shampoo and Conditioning Treatments, Detangling Journey, Washing Curly and Coily Hair, Washing Straight and Wavy Hair, Round Brush Drying and Finishing, Basic/Low Ponytail, Buns and Knots, 3 Strand Braids, 2 Strand Twist, French Braid, and Cornrows.

• Weeks 3–4: (10 Days/80 Hours/M-F)

Hair Cutting Theory and Diagramming, Square One Length Cut, Round One Length Cut, Triangular One Length Cut, Convex Layers, Concave Layers, Cutting Fringe (Bangs ), Short Haircutting/Barbering, Pixie Cut: Theory, Demo, and Lab.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in cosmetology.
• Valid certification from National-Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology.
• Previous work experience as a cosmetology instructor.
• Years of work experience as a Cosmetologist or a Cosmetology Instructor in reputed educational institute.
