Weaponeering Instructor

Ladgov Corporation is looking to hire an instructor at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) to teach Introduction to Weaponeering course two (2) times a year and an Advanced Weaponeering course once a year.

Duties:

• Provide two (2) Introductory Weaponeering courses, and one (1) Advanced Weaponeering course.
• Plan on a maximum number of participants in each course is thirty (30).
• Ensure the Introductory to Weaponeering course covers the basic subjects such us:
  • Overview of Weaponeering and Weapon Effectiveness
  • Introduction to Statistical Methos
  • Weapon Trajectory
  • Delivery Accuracy
  • Introduction to Vulnerability and Effectiveness
  • Vulnerability Assessment – Implementation
  • Effectiveness Assessment – Implementation
• Ensure the Advanced Weaponeering course includes:
  • Historical Review of Weapon Effectiveness Methods
  • Advanced Trajectory Methods
  • Delivery Accuracy
  • Accuracy of Air Launched Unguided Weapons
  • Accuracy of Surface Launched Unguided Weapons
  • Aimpoint Optimization for Multiple Weapon Attacks
  • Non-Homogeneous Targets
  • Cratering
  • Ground Penetration
  • Moving Targets
  • Air Blast
  • Tunnels
  • Personal Injury
  • Above Ground Buildings and Bunkers
• Conduct the training with the option of in-person attendance and have the option to switch the class to virtual training at the government’s request.
