JOB TITLE: ICCA (International Conservation Chiefs Academy) Instructor
LOCATION:Glynco, GA (both virtual and in person); Person will be required to travel
DUTIES:
The ICCA international instructor will manage the International Conservation Chief’s Academy (ICCA) in close consultation with TDU, OLE management, US State Department, and the International Operations Unit (IOU)
Maintain liaison with the Service offices, TDU, IOU Attaches and other US Government (USG) officials to facilitate ICCA specific training needs.
Coordinate international training under the guidance of TDU. Task Four: Processing Federal Personnel Actions
Prepare cables for international training for TDU to send to embassies
Travel both internationally and domestically to participate in ICCA, IATE and Coaches Training international training and capacity building missions.
Coordinates venue and logistics of both domestic and international training missions
Utilize TDU current contract holder and ensure presentations are translated into host country language for use by interpreters for each training mission.
Responsible for inventory for ICCA related trainings
Maintain liaison with U.S. and foreign government officials, embassy staff, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other state/federal/foreign conservation partners in coordination of ICCA foreign training missions.
ICCA international instructor is responsible for producing and delivering “End of Course” reports after each ICCA training mission.
Provide post course media to be utilized by the Service and TDU to promote training accomplishments.
ICCA international instructor makes decisions that are in the best interest of the ICCA, IATE and Coaches Training Service and TDU to accomplish the training mission.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior Federal law enforcement supervisory experience
Federal Law Enforcement Training experience
Prior oversight of national law enforcement programs
Prior oversight of international law enforcement programs
Prior international training experience
International travel experience
International capacity building experience
Prior law enforcement experience
Prior wildlife law enforcement experience
Prior law enforcement investigative experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs i.e. PowerPoint, EXCEL, Word
Ability to manage training scheduling system (ACADIS), virtual platform (Zoom) and Learning Management System (Canvas)
