Position Title: Cleaner
Job Type: Part-Time to Full-Time
Location: 6 Mykoly Pymonenka St., Kyiv, Ukraine

Requirements: The Candidate shall have at minimum:

• Experience in professional cleaning (offices, public facilities, or similar).

• Ability to follow detailed cleaning schedules and instructions.

• Must be able to lift up to 15–20 kg and perform physical tasks.

• Familiarity with safe cleaning practices.

• Must pass Embassy security clearance (ID, DOB, address required).

• Must maintain a clean uniform and professional conduct at all times.

Duties: The candidate must:

• Perform inside cleaning: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, carpet care, restroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning, polishing brass, and removing stains.

• Maintain America House floors, carpets, windows, blinds, furniture, and appliances.

• Empty wastebaskets twice daily, replace liners, clean bins, and dispose of trash.

• Support events by preparing spaces and handling post-event cleaning.

• Perform outside cleaning: trash bins, spot-clean windows, graffiti removal, generator pressure-washing twice annually.

• Maintain cleanliness of the Controlled Access Center and Utility Building.

• Remove water near entrances during snow/rain.

• Follow color-coded rag system to prevent cross contamination.

• Use only approved cleaning chemicals and maintain MSDS sheets on site.

• Report damages, malfunctions, or unusual findings to the Supervisor.
