Conduct continuous security patrols at Pueblo Community Living Center (CLC), ensuring doors and windows are secure and reporting any suspicious behavior to VA Police.
Operate the security post and provide physical security within designated areas, maintaining adherence to entrance control and check-in procedures.
Assist in emergency situations, executing evacuation and lockdown protocols as necessary, and maintaining order until authorities arrive.
Perform random anti-terrorism measure (RAM) checks on bags and packages as required and report prohibited items such as weapons or alcohol.
Keep comprehensive daily security logs and incident reports, including visitor sign-ins, patrol activities, and security checks.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years in a security role.
Must meet Colorado state security qualifications and possess a clear understanding of emergency response protocols.
Strong attention to detail, with effective communication and documentation skills.
