Schedule: Minimum 96 hours/month, mission-based, Monday–Friday with 24/7 on-call availability
Provide emergency and routine medical care following accepted medical industry standards.
Administer medications and treatments based on written or verbal orders from medical direction.
Review prisoner medical records and confirm medical fitness to fly.
Maintain custody of all medical records, medications, and government-issued medical equipment.
Respond to in-flight medical emergencies involving prisoners, aircrew, or ground personnel.
Prepare and submit required reports, including USM 210 incident forms.
Conduct equipment checks before each mission; restock supplies at mission completion.
Be available within two hours of schedule changes; support overnight missions as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent (must speak, read, and write English fluently).
Valid state driver’s license with a clean 5-year driving record.
Minimum 3 years of Paramedic experience.
Current NREMT-Paramedic, CPR, AED, and ACLS certifications.
