Cross Cultural Specialist

Ladgov Corp. is looking for an Administrative Assistant  to support our team at USAG Ansbach, Army Community Service (ACS), Relocation Readiness, Information and Referral, and Outreach programs during normal facility operating hours of 0730-1600 Monday through Friday (excluding U.S. Federal Holidays). The ideal candidate shall provide Relocation Program services to include Host Nation Orientation, Cultural Adaptation walking tours, translation, German and English as a Second Language classes for the USAG Ansbach and its surrounding areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

The employee shall provide Relocation Readiness Program services for Army Community Service. ACS uses Standard Operating Procedures for the various parts of its mission in order to standardize procedures and provide a reference for operations.

Relocation Services:

• Pre-Arrival Community Information: shall assist in developing Community Welcome Packets
• The Employee shall assist the Program Manager in country-specific information and briefings to identified Soldiers and Families and shall conduct follow-up as necessary.
• The employee shall assist the Program Manager in providing support, communication and information to identified Families during the separation, and shall conduct follow-up as necessary.
• The Employee shall produce monthly marketing requests for the Relocation Readiness program to the ACS Marketing POC
• Relocation Readiness Training: The Employee shall prepare training handouts and materials for community training needs, assist in setting up the briefing room

Requirements:

• Employee shall possess at least an Associate Degree or equivalent education/work experience. One (1) year of information and referral and/or one year of customer service experience may be substituted for education.
• Employee shall have at least one year of experience in teaching.
• Employee shall be proficient in the use of common software programs and those in use at ACS, specifically Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Publisher, Outlook, SharePoint and Excel.
