English–Spanish Interpreter / Translator
Location: Puerto Rico (On-site and Virtual)
Client: USDA Forest Service – El Yunque National Forest
Type: Contract / On-Call
Key Responsibilities:
Provide real-time interpretation (English ↔ Spanish) during meetings and events.
Support virtual and in-person meetings with Forest Service leadership and staff.
Ensure accurate translation of information while maintaining tone and intent.
Conduct brief pre-meeting coordination calls with agency staff when required.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with federal agency requirements.
Qualifications:
Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
Minimum 3 years of interpretation or translation experience.
Knowledge of Puerto Rican culture and context.
Ability to support on-site and virtual meetings across Puerto Rico.
