Protestant Music Director
Hill AFB, UT - Part Time
Location: Hill Air Force Base Chapel, Hill AFB, Utah
Key Responsibilities:
Provide music direction for all scheduled Protestant worship services and authorized special services.
Coordinate weekly music selections with the Protestant Chaplain; submit selections by Wednesday prior to services.
Lead and coordinate accompanists and musicians for Sunday and special services.
Support seasonal and special observances, including Christmas and Easter.
Provide qualified, pre-approved substitutes when required and notify Chapel staff of absences in advance.
Maintain required records, safeguard Government-furnished property, and comply with all Chapel and installation policies.
Qualifications:
Minimum three (3) years experience as a Protestant Music Director.
Minimum two (2) years experience selecting and directing Protestant worship music across diverse styles.
Ability to read sheet music and proficiency in piano or guitar.
Associate’s degree in music preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Ability to meet all background check and installation access requirements.
