Duties :

• Treat patients with common acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, post-operative orthopedic patients within accepted protocols
• Collaborate with the physician in the health care of patients with chronic illnesses
• Prescribe and dispense medications as delineated by the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee
• Promote preventive and health maintenance care, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling
• Coordinate patient care through a continuum and facilitates the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to care, quality and cost effectiveness
• Ability to recognize adverse signs and symptoms and react quickly in emergency situations.
• Participate in the orientation of newly assigned personnel, as appropriate.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of two (2) year work experience as a licensed Physical Therapist

Education/ Licensure :

• Master's in Physical Therapy
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Possess and maintain an active, current, valid and unrestricted license from a U.S. jurisdiction (1 of 50 states), the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands and applicable Board Certification as a licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
