The Musician shall provide service for 104 regular services,
52 regular rehearsals, up to ten (10) special services during each 12- month ordering period.
The Musician can expect that most of this work may be performed outside of the core hours and on weekends or holidays.
Rehearsal day/time may change based on the services or Government’s needs.
The Musician shall be present for the entirety of a rehearsal, service, program, or event.
The Musician shall provide the necessary support to facilitate worship music at the religious services. The musical selection is prescribed by the chaplains as their religious service requires.
The Musician shall provide professional accompaniment for the specified congregation in all services.
Education & Qualifications:
The musician shall possess the appropriate qualifications to play an eighty-eight (88) key upright piano, and a one hundred and twenty-two (122) and thirty-two (32) pedal organ.
A minimum of three years experience accompanying a vocal choir for comprehensive worship service requirements.
Hour of Operations:
The Musician shall generally perform all work between the hours of 8:15 am and 10:45 am EST on Sunday, and 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm EST on Friday.
