Lead and coordinate music for all Catholic Masses, special services, and liturgical seasons, including rehearsals.
Organize and manage the music calendar, ensuring proper selection and preparation of music for Sundays, Holy Days, and other special services like baptisms, penance services, and confirmations.
Recruit, train, and conduct the choir and volunteer musicians, coordinating rehearsals and ensuring high-quality performances.
Collaborate with the Catholic Priest on music selections and maintain all sheet music, hymnals, and related materials.
Set up and break down the choir area for all rehearsals and performances.
Requirements:
Strong fluency in Catholic liturgical music and practices, with a minimum of three years of experience as a Music Coordinator or equivalent experience.
Bachelor’s degree in music or demonstrable ability in Catholic liturgical music as a substitute for formal education.
Must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing, with Confirmation received.
