Job Title: Protestant Religious Education Coordinator
Location: Clovis, NM
Duties:
Protestant Religious Education Coordinator Shall provide services for adult, youth and children programs throughout the year to include a summer program.
Assist with volunteer recruitment, i.e. teachers, assistants and religious education teacher training; coordinate program needs with Lead Faith Group Chaplain.
Organize at a minimum two (2) volunteer teacher training events each year.
Provide additional workshops for special programs, e.g., kids participating in a musical, summer religious education program, special Christmas, or Easter program.
PRE coordinator will serve as a Program Leader during semi-annual Chaplain Corps Financial Working Group meetings.
Plan and execute an annual event to recognize and honor volunteers; coordinate requirements with chapel personnel.
Qualifications:
Must have 2 years of experience including administration, program coordination, education, Bible studies, volunteer work or customer service work.
Two (2) years of verified religious work is preferrable.
Have basic working skills with Computer programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Provide proof of High School diploma OR its equivalent. A bachelor’s degree in religious studies, education, or social science is preferable.
Must reflect at least two references with knowledge of previous work as a religious education coordinator or teacher.
