Position Title: Galley / Café Manager
Location: U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily food service operations, including meal preparation, serving, sanitation, and cleaning.
Supervise food service personnel and designated alternates.
Ensure compliance with Navy food service regulations and sanitation standards.
Monitor food quality, portion control, customer service, and safety practices.
Coordinate staffing schedules and coverage during operating hours.
Maintain accountability for Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and supplies.
One designated manager must be qualified to operate and maintain a Mobile Kitchen Tent (MKT).
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience in government or commercial kitchen operations.
Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in food service.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Military food service experience at E-6 or above may substitute for required experience.
