Duties:

Provide nephrology care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients, including consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and dialysis.
Conduct telemedicine clinics, inpatient consultations, and rounding.
Follow VHA kidney health policies and guidelines.
Maintain accurate patient records.

Requirements:

Current, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Minimum of 6 months of nephrology experience.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Completion of VA-required training, including Privacy, HIPAA, and Military Sexual Trauma.
Ability to be credentialed and privileged by VHA.
Compliance with infection control measures, including tuberculosis testing and annual flu vaccination.
