Duties:
- Collect, orient, and section tissue for Mohs procedures.
- Prepare specimens for pathology evaluation.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot cryostat instruments.
- Prepare reagents and manage laboratory inventory.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Adapt and improve specimen preparation techniques.
- Advise and implement corrective actions for unacceptable sections.
- Ensure adherence to policies and regulations for accurate patient care.
- Applicant must have a minimum of one (1) year hands-on Mohs frozen section training.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Basic Life Support Certification or valid CPR card.
- Valid Hepatitis B immunization required, valid tuberculin skin (TB) test.
- U.S. Citizenship.
