Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location: Fort Liberty, North Carolina

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of general experience or at least one year of experience working with K-12 students. As an RBT, you will work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement behavior intervention plans, collect data, and provide direct support to students in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioral challenges in classroom and other educational settings.
  • Collect and record data on student behavior and progress towards goals.
  • Assist in the development of materials and resources for behavior intervention programs.
  • Communicate regularly with BCBA and other team members to discuss student progress and any changes to intervention plans.
  • Follow all ethical and professional guidelines outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • Licensed to practice as an RBT in the state of North Carolina.
  • Minimum of three years of general experience or at least one year of experience working with K-12 students.
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to promoting the well-being and success of students with behavioral challenges.
