Job Title: Catholic Worship Director/Musician

Location: Geilenkirchen NATO Air Base Chapel

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and perform music for Catholic worship services and special events
• Select music in accordance with the Catholic liturgical calendar and Church guidelines
• Provide piano and organ accompaniment during services
• Lead and direct choir and congregational singing
• Conduct regular rehearsals with volunteer musicians and vocalists
• Coordinate all music selections with the Catholic chaplain for approval at least 72 hours in advance
• Recruit, organize, and supervise volunteer musicians and singers
• Ensure all music and media usage complies with copyright regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience leading music in a Roman Catholic worship setting
• Proficiency in both piano and organ
• Strong understanding of Catholic liturgical practices and music selection
• Ability to lead choirs and coordinate volunteers effectively
• Strong communication skills in English
