Worksite: On-site

Position: Part-time

Duties:

Coordinate with the Chaplain to provide musical support for worship, liturgies, and rites.
Provide choir and musical support for one regular Catholic Mass per week and approximately 20 special events annually.
Organize, rehearse, and lead a choir, including a pianist and singer.
Provide music for funerals and memorial services.
Select and get approval for appropriate music.
Ensure musical instruments and sound equipment are functioning properly.
Advise on musical equipment and supplies.

Requirements:

Minimum of four years of experience in liturgical music for Catholic worship.
Ability to work in a religiously diverse environment and communicate in English.
Registered member of a Catholic parish in full communion with the Catholic Church.
Ability to manage a liturgical choir and musical instruments.
