Location: Yokota Air Base, Japan

Position: Part-time

Duties:

Serve as the primary musician for the Traditional worship service.
Provide piano or organ accompaniment during worship services, including prelude/postlude, call to worship, special music selections, and benediction response as per the worship requirements and expectations of the chaplain.
Coordinate for special services and be ready for rehearsals and services with appropriate prelude music.
Setup and take down necessary items for rehearsals and worship services, ensuring all areas are neat and orderly.
Organize volunteers to assist with the music programs.

Requirements:

Possess a Bachelor of Arts in music or 2 years of experience and 3 years of playing in religious worship services.
Proficiency in playing both the piano and organ.
Demonstrate competence and capability to perform required services, including sight-reading and playing music.
Ability to provide a wide range of church music, including traditional, liturgical, and contemporary.
Ability to communicate fully in English.
