Job Overview:
The Online Nurse Training Program Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive web-based nurse training program for the Indian Health Service (IHS). This program aims to provide continuing education and certification for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs), Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to enhance their clinical skills and improve healthcare services within the IHS.

Location & Schedule: This is a remote position.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or similar certification is desirable.
  • Proven experience in developing and managing online training programs, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and web-based education delivery.
  • Familiarity with accreditation and certification processes for nursing education.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage an interactive web-based distance learning management system (LMS) that meets national certification and recertification requirements.
  • Coordinate the logistics of accredited training courses that meet competency-based standards of accrediting/certifying organizations.
  • Provide comprehensive training packages for APRNs, RNs, LPNs, and CNAs with unlimited usage.
  • Ensure the LMS can handle the addition and deletion of courses, pre-test capabilities, post-test assessments, and the ability to print certificates of completion.
  • Develop custom educational modules using subject matter experts.
